A recent news report shows thousands of luxury and sports cars from Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Ferrari, Ranger Rover and Aston Martin have been abandoned by the rich residing in Dubai.
Another report portrays the wealthy Saudis, Qataris, Emiratis and Kuwaitis visiting the capital of United Kingdom to escape from the heat of Arab. In addition to emptying their wallets on luxury brands and staying at the most expensive hotels, these wealthy Arabs are seen driving some of the hottest supercars in London. The photographers were able to capture pictures of a £400,000 Mercedes AMG, £1million Pagani Huayra, £300,000 Rolls-Royce, £300,000 Lamborghini Aventador, £400,000 six-wheeled Mercedes G63 AMG and a lot more.
In a country like UAE, the rich citizens, mostly the sheikhs, are quickly able to update their already filled garage with the latest super cars in the automotive market, while the middle-class people satisfy their automotive interests by visiting places like Emirates National Auto Museum, Ferrari World and Yas Marina.

The nickname Rainbow Sheikh is given to Sheikh Hamad because of his collection of Mercedes S Class available in 7 different colours.

old, recovered cars. One of his antique cars include Ford Model T, which has been restored to mint condition.
He also owns the world’s largest Dodge Power Wagon which weighs around 50 ton and is the most prominent vehicle in his museum. Inside this truck is a fully furnished apartment with 4 bedrooms, kitchen and western style washrooms. And the best part is, this truck actually runs and is powered by an inline-six Dodge diesel engine generating power of 300 horses.

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan
Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed, who also happens to be a member of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi, is also a car enthusiast like other Sheikhs in Abu Dhabi. He became very interested in cars due to his father the late Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan. The SBH royal auto gallery in his private compound in Abu Dhabi is known to house 37 luxurious cars, some of them made according to Sheikh’s personal specifications.
The gallery retains some of the rarest sports cars including the Aston Martin One-77, the Bugatti EB110, the Ferrari SA Aperta, the Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss, the Lamborghini Reventon, the Maserati MC12 and a lot more. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
Sheikh Mohammed is the Prime Minister of UAE and the Constitutional Monarch of Dubai. He is included in Forbes’ list of richest billionaires with a net worth of $13.9 billion. Sheikh Mohammad takes deep interest in supercars and retains more than 100 cars in his collection, which include all the well-known luxury brands such as BMW, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari and also some of the old vintage cars.
His most famous car is the custom made Mercedes Benz G55 AMG, which was built specifically for his convoy. It is equipped with a 5.5 litre V8 engine which can generate 620 Horsepower. The exterior features a 22-inch polished alloy wheels, 4 Xenon headlamps and 8 fog lamps. Sheikh Mohammed was also one of the first owners of the limited edition Range Rover.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum
Even the son of King, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum – the crown prince of Dubai – has some of the world’s rarest and expensive hypercars in his collection which include Ferrari LaFerrari, Lamborghini Veneno, McLaren P1, Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari F12 and Aston Martin One-77.
Mohammed Bin Sulayem
Born in 1961, Mohommad Ahmed Bin Sulayem, also known as “Mohammed ben Sulayem” is one of the finest sportsmen and successful rally racer in the UAE. Having more than thirty years of experience in rally racing, he has won 14 FIA Middle East Rally Championship awards. Besides being an excellent rally driver, Mohammed Ben Sulayem is also known to own hundreds of luxury cars and has a keen interest in modifying luxury and sports vehicles with improved and more powerful powertrains.

Al-Thani, the royal family of Qatar may not have a huge collection of luxury sports cars as the Sultan of Brunei, but they definitely have some of the most beautiful and sleek looking vehicles in the world.
The top-notch turquoise blue Pagani Zonda Uno, owned by the family, was designed specifically according to the family’s requirements. It is equipped with a 7.3 litre V8 engine which generates 690 horsepower.
