The 2014 Ford Edge sport is a fine sporty SUV from the automaker. The 3.7L V6 engine is quite responsive offering 305 horses with a stiffer sport tuned suspension. The chrome package gives it an enhanced look and makes it more demanding than Nissan Murano and Mazda CX-7. However, the interior is pretty ordinary considering it has come from Ford. The AED 160,000 price should have been a little down with these features.

The 2014 Ford Edge SE is a nice family car. The drive is smooth and the seating is spacious. The independent front and rear suspensions provide a jerk-free ride. It has a 3.5L V6 engine that can produce 285hp. Surely, it’s not that powerful as it should have been. Perhaps, Ford also has to work hard on the interior quality. It is fairly cheap. I’d take it cheap if the price is more affordable. I’d recommend it to people who are more inclined towards looks rather than the interior.

I bought the Ford Edge for its looks. It has a contemporary design with a lot of promise. However, the interior is not up to the mark. The best thing inside is the MyFord Touch, though it too lags in performance sometimes. The driving performance is pretty okay. I opted for the chrome package that worked very well for me. It provides paddle shifters and panoramic sunroof as standard. The price was affordable for me but I think Ford has to change its interior and put in some advanced equipment to lure the customers like me to come back to buy it again.

The moment I saw the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo standing in the showroom wearing a sexy Granite Crystal paint, I decided to buy it. It costed me AED 139,900 and I’m extremely satisfied with the features it has on offer. It is definitely a very attractive SUV inside out. The interior is comfortable and luxurious with wooden and leather trim used on the front dash. Moreover, it is spacious and can easily accommodate my family of 4. The cargo space measures 1,028 liters, so carrying any kind of luggage is never an issue. The performance is outstanding, thanks to its 3.6L powertrain and Quadra-Drive II 4WD system.

I didn’t have the money to buy a brand new Land Cruiser or the Mitsubishi Pajero, but I adore tough SUVs. So, I came across the 2014 Jeep Compass which may not be powerful in comparison to its Japanese rivals, but my experience has been very well with it up till now. I absolutely loved the exterior styling of Jeep Compass as I gawked at it first time. The front fascia is aggressively designed giving it an attractive persona. The interior is comfortable too, but it doesn’t boast any fancy technological equipment. I could have installed the UConnect infotainment system but it was costing me extra. The 2.4L engine along with independent McPherson strut and multi-link suspension renders a robust performance, especially on the desert. The best part is that the 2014 Jeep Compass costed me only AED 99,900 and didn’t put a dent in my pocket.
