I owned the 2013 Nissan Armada before buying the 2014 model and the only complain I have with my new Armada is its exterior design, which is pretty much the same as the previous model. The cabin is spacious and large enough for 5 passengers. I don’t usually fold the third row seats as the boot space of 567 liters is enough for me, but when pulled down the cargo space becomes huge. The front dash design looks very luxurious due to the wooden trim. Reversing and parking the Armada are never a problem as it is fitted with safety sensors. It retains a 5.5L V8 engine that produces 320 horsepower but is not fuel efficient as it consumes around16L to cover a distance of 100 kilometers.

I bought the 2014 Nissan Murano for its practicality and spacious cabin, but I’m not really fond of its exterior design. The interior is exquisite and has a remarkable dashboard design with modern features like tire pressure monitoring system, blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning. Another con is its boot space which is only 895 liters and is not flexible enough to carry luggage of my whole family. Nevertheless, the performance offered by the 3.5L engine is pretty decent and comfortable.

The Kia Cadenza offers everything you would need in a family car and I’ll tell you why. It is brilliantly designed and resembles to BMW. The interior is sophisticated and opulent with wooden trim used on front dash and doors, which gives me a feeling of driving an expensive car. Besides having a superior design, it also renders a spectacular performance through its powerful 3.5L engine. More importantly, it has some advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, ABS with EBD and more. I bought it for AED 81,900, which I believe is very affordable considering the high end equipment installed in this car.

Why buy the expensive Mini Cooper hatchback when we have options like Kia Rio? My Kia Rio costed me only AED 42,000 and it may not be a technologically advanced car but it renders a spectacular performance. The cabin is handsome and roomy enough for 4 passengers. The boot space is 289 liters, which is not too large. I usually have problems fitting my suitcases. For music junkies like me, the Rio includes an Arkamys Virtual Sound System that keeps me hooked for hours while driving.

I don’t get it why people opt for huge sedans when a hatchback like Kia Soul offers every feature of a normal sedan. I agree that Kia Soul looks compact from the outside but its interior is surprisingly spacious and can easily accommodate five people. The compact exterior is stylish as well as convenient to park in tight spots. The 2.0L powertrain delivers 164 horsepower and is good for daily commuting as it’s pretty economical too. My Kia Soul consumes around 9.9L petrol to cover 100 kilometers distance.
